I have been a parishioner at St. Patrick’s since 1984, the year I moved to Markham. Over the years, I have been involved with the Social Justice Ministry, Lector Ministry, and Little Rock Scripture Study. I currently Co-ordinate the Lector Ministry.
Through the Social Justice backpack program, backpacks are donated every year to Native Child in downtown Toronto. It came to my attention in August 2022 that they have a need for winter hats, mitts, and scarves for all ages, infant to adult. This need, spurred on by the CWL Knitting Circle, spurred on the idea of the weekly Knitting Circle during Lent.
