To grow in faith, and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service.
Theme: Month of Our Lady – Nurturing Hope
Here are some highlights of the events that took place in our League:
CWL Easter fundraiser: Thank you to all who supported the Easter fundraiser. The money raised helped to feed about 50 seniors at the Cedarcrest Manor. The seniors were very appreciative and thanked us for the lovely meal as well as the entertainment. We donated $50 No Frills gift cards to 21 St. Vincent de Paul families in both parishes. Thank you, for helping us put a smile on their faces.
Induction Ceremony: The new Executive council members as well as a few new members were inducted into the League on Saturday April 23rd at the 8:30 am mass. Thank you, Father Dominic for celebrating the mass and the ceremony with us. Some members also received their Service pins.
TDC 101st Convention: Ten members attended the TDC 101st Convention this year. It was a new experience for most of us. We have all returned with information and knowledge about the league’s resolutions, election process, amendments, youth awards, etc. and look forward to sharing this with you.
Ukrainian Relief Funds: The Catholic Women’s League of St. Patrick’s Parish donated $300 towards the Ukrainian Relief Fund. There were some members who added to this donation. In total we donated $800. Thank you for your support and generosity.
