Please pray for the people of Türkiye and Syria as they endure the loss of life, destruction, and injury from the recent earthquakes. Being Catholic and Living It! compels members to come to the aid as the need is so great. Please refer to link below as it explains how members can help.

The Healing and Reconciliation committee at St. Patrick’s Parish is inviting you to join the ‘Knitting Circle’ at St. Brendan’s Room in the Church from 9 am – 10:30 am every Tuesday during Lent starting February 28th, 2023.
They are collecting new, hand knitted winter hats, mitts, gloves, and scarves for the 900 families of children and adults to support Native Child and Family Service.
Please bring wool, knitting needles, crochet hooks, patterns if you can. If you are unable to participate you are welcome to donate materials/money to this worthy cause. There will be coffee and some light refreshments.
Please email Cindy Sisti: ijustwant2dance@yahoo.ca if you have any questions.

Through the Social Justice backpack program, backpacks are donated every year to Native Child in downtown Toronto. It came to my attention in August 2022 that they have a need for winter hats, mitts, and scarves for all ages, infant to adult. This need, spurred on by the CWL Knitting Circle, spurred on the idea of the weekly Knitting Circle during Lent.
