U R HOME CARE PACKAGES
I wanted to take this opportunity to update our CWL Executives on this initiative. Have also blind copied those that also took part in this initiative so they too are aware. Can't say it enough to our volunteers.....
THANK YOU, THANK YOU for taking the time to either donate funds that were used to buy packages OR actually purchase and / or donate items for these packages!!!
It gave me great joy to present 8 completed packages on behalf of our League and volunteers, to Kathy Powers (Founding Board Member of U-R Home and presently Community Resource Coordinator at Yellow Brick House). An amazing lady who also brought her daughter to help.
In addition to the 8 completed packages, Kathy also gladly accepted a 9th 70% completed one and all remaining knitted hats, gloves, and scarves. All of which she assured me will too be donated.
